Canaan Land Baptist Church has served the Sunnyside area of Houston, Texas for the past 21 years. Its central location gives it the arms to reach throughout the city and to accommodate the diversity that is currently available. Aptly nicknamed “A Church For All People” the CLBC offers exciting worship, programs of impact, insightful Bible study, children ministry, and a host of other interests for its members and visitors.

Welcome back to church!
We greet you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We bear witness that
there is no other name in heaven or in earth whereby men might be saved.
God is great and he is greatly to be praised. We should exert extra effort
and energy to give Him glory!
March 15, 2020 marked the last time we were able to meet and gather as
a church. Seems like a much longer time than that. The COVID-19
coronavirus has done much harm around this world. We thank God that we
are survivors.
It gives us great pleasure to announce that we will return to in person
worship Sunday June 6, 2021. We will ask that all attenders sanitize your
hands before entering the sanctuary. Please cooperate with our ushers as
the take your body temperature. If you have not been totally vaccinated we
ask that you would please wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose.
Your safety is still our top concern.
We are excited to have you back!
